• Return a non-zero value when c is a printable character, and 0 otherwise.
• Printable means the byte falls in the range 0x20 to 0x7E inclusive.
• Watch the edges: space (0x20) IS printable, but every control character below it is not.
• 0x7F (DEL) sits just past ~ and is NOT printable, even though it is a single byte.
